Hello

The Talk2 Group

Human Communication for an AI World

Technology is transforming how we work, learn, connect, and communicate.

Artificial intelligence can translate languages, generate content, and provide information instantly.

Yet many of today's challenges remain deeply human.

Leaders struggle to build trust.

Teams misunderstand one another.

Healthcare professionals face increasingly complex conversations.

People feel overwhelmed by constant communication, digital overload, and the pressure of being permanently connected.

The future belongs not only to those who understand technology, but to those who understand people.

The Talk2 Group helps leaders, healthcare professionals, and global teams develop the human skills needed to communicate effectively in an increasingly AI-driven world.

My Story

I began my career in the UK pharmaceutical industry, working across training, market research, product management, and commercial strategy.

Over nearly 20 years, I developed training programmes, managed teams, and supported large field forces in highly regulated, performance-driven environments.

This gave me a deep understanding of how organisations work from the inside: how decisions are made, how teams function, how pressure affects communication, and where human connection can quietly break down.

I later moved to Japan and founded The Talk2 Group Co. Ltd.

Over the past two decades, I have worked with leaders and professionals across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, automotive, IT, finance, education, and luxury brands. My work has taken me into boardrooms, training rooms, hospitals, and coaching conversations, supporting everyone from senior executives to clinicians.

Along the way, I developed Soft Power Communication™ — a human-centred approach that combines behavioural psychology, emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and communication under pressure.

Increasingly, my work has become focused on a deeper question:

What is happening to human communication in modern life?

As communication becomes faster, more digital, and increasingly automated, many people feel more connected than ever — yet also more distracted, overwhelmed, and unseen.

This curiosity led me to create 風 | Flossie & Fern, a small hosted dining and afternoon tea house in the mountains of Gunma.

Far from being separate from my professional work, it became an extension of it.

The house is a living exploration of presence, attentiveness, atmosphere, emotional safety, pacing, and the small details that help people feel genuinely welcomed and understood.

For me, hospitality and communication ask the same question:

How does another human being feel in your presence?

Whether working with leaders, healthcare professionals, teams, or guests gathered around a table, my work continues to be guided by one belief:

Communication is never neutral.

It shapes trust.

It shapes relationships.

It shapes culture.

And ultimately, it shapes the human experience itself.
